    Hey i was wondering who drew this picture, and the nationality of the people being depicted in it.
    I’m writing a paper for my academic writing class, and I really want to use this image as an example, but i need to know more about it

    This reminded me of a photo I had seen. You can see the photo at http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3117/2399022359_bab5d2b2d9.jpg (which is attributed to having been taken in Darfur . . . but I’m not certain that this is correct) and decide whether the image on this page was taken from this photo or not.

    IT WAS MADE FOR A STENCIL FROM A NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SHOOT IN ETHIOPIA. I MADE IT FOR A DEMONSTRATION AND PROTEST AGAINST THE WORLD BANK AND THE IMF. PROTESTING CONTINUED POVERTY IN AFRICA. THE STENCIL WAS CALLED MAYIBUYE. TAKEN FROM AN UMKHONTO WE SIZWE MARCHING SONG
