My immediate thoughts: seen quite a lot of stuff that looks similar. Yet yours takes the saturation point further (if you’ll pardon the pun). To me the piss is almost redemptive. It is human excreta, as is all the other audiovisual, hypersignificant (and thus indigestible) sound and fury raining down (insane editing!), but the piss is REAL. It’s a point of REAL connection with the nature of being - humiliating as such, but also redemptive. It functions to me here as a ritual annihilation of the intellectual distance from life felt when over-stimulated and desensitized by mediated experience. Overflowing with emptiness. She is relieving herself. And him.
What I wrote may sound all intellectualised, but I got those feelings intensely viscerally. In fact, i’m surpised i could even write about them.
