revelation love
when i became my own shadow
before my shadow i was
and before me was my shadow
when we split, my shadow and i,
there and then
space and time began
in order to measure
the betweening of us
this betweening some call the world
and some the word
and some the beginning
and some the end
in truth space and time have kept me from my shadow
for far too long
and long too far
thus, imprisoned, i yearn for re-union with my self
this yearning is the question that love answers
but, sleeping, i cannot hear the answers
only knowledge can awaken me
and before that, dreams
when i awaken from the prison of the dreams that dream me
i will become my own shadow
again revealing
