I finally started reading one of your books (the dialogue with God), and it is really intimately oral, a voicing perhaps. I can hear the tone of your voice, the understatements, I can hear the small gestures. I am also enormously impressed by people like you who dare to write novels, which is what I deep down would like to do myself (and there I am not alone of course…). In that sense I guess it is true what they say about academics, that they are all failed artists…
