the evil ones - a letter from omoseye bolaji

Filed under: free state black literature — ABRAXAS @ 9:16 am

Boss

Some VERY VERY evil people have invaded my yahoomail and tried to destroy me - sending 419 messages around the world and claiming I Omoseye am asking for hundreds of thousands of rand. U know of course that this is nonsense.

Meanwhile yahoo headquarters has cancelled my email address - no doubt thinking I am a criminal - with all those emails asking for big money being sent in my name. Maybe u got one too from that yahoo adress of mine???

Kindly help me send emails (make it collective) to ALL the people we know saying that if anybody received emails from “Omoseye Bolaji yahoo” asking for money it is fraud being done by some cruel evil people who invaded and destroyed my yahoo address. Now I can no longer receive countless emails from that box which has now been cancelled

Thanks

Shame on those evil ones. They have got no heart. The same is reported to have happened to Bishop Tutu recently. So chief don’t dispair, you are not alone. We’ll stand by you and fight these rogues.

Just imagining these cruel people sending these false emails all over the place in Bolaji’s name and causing confusion, especially amongst his close friends, makes me sick. The times we live in…

It has been strongly suggested to me - and the indications are that it is true - that my yahoomail address has not actually been closed; that what has happened is that those who have invaded it and taken it over have somehow changed my erstwhile password and they are the only ones who can access it now. Needless to say they would be using it for nefarious purposes. I have tried to alert as many people as possible of the situation, but alas, I do not know the email addresses of so many of my acquaintances by heart… - Omoseye Bolaji

It’s sad indeed when a man can not even enter his own private “box”; worse still, same box is taken over by people of evil intent. All of us no doubt receive all sorts of rubbish, unsolicited demanding emails and we wonder: how did these people know my email address anyway???

  8. Gilbert Says:

My sympathies. The way these scams are done, can mislead or deceive so many people; those who do these things are unconscionable and do not care about the harm they do…
