Hey K.,
I did enjoy our meeting in the city today, collapse not yet evident, meeting in the toxic-wasteland of unseen cocaine models, pimps fast cars and slick bikes. Reality is somewhere I try to visit as seldom as possible, usually to exchange things. Now all we have to do is attach some people to ideas add some money and then ride into the perfect desert sunset on the fractal wave?
I met Terence Mckenna by sending him a chapter of the sci-fi book I told you about in ‘94. He tried to get my book published but his agent told him that I was “too weird for her”. Terence comforted me by assuring me that he’d made more money out of selling mushrooms than publishing books which got me to thinking about how funny it was to be able to relate to someone, holographically, at a distance, to be in their heads at the same time. I called this ‘cybershamanism’ and am probably logged as the creator of this word on usenet, or as one of its procreators/co-creators….at that time I became efficient at recognising ‘patterns’ through e-text….like magic…i guessed peoples clothing, nicknames and generally anticipated things rather well, or so it seemed at the time…it was like a memetic thing….genetic ideas that grew, or got shut down by natural (thought) selection….like a social matrix, if you like…a stream of consciousness that exists without any central ego…this internet consciousness thing….so to prove this theory i began to reach out through the net and pull in whoever i fancied…or whoever fancied me…like osmosis of the sociokinetic type…..because a lot of it caused sparks:)
In any event, you’re not afraid of the blue beam, and there’s one of my assumptions….so lets bring on some worthy probability!! (and that’s another)
your new friend,
kawitzky
