Very moving. Exhilarating that icons like Lebo Mashile and Napo Masheane graced the occasion. My own opinion is that proliferating people MUST READ…not wait for the powers-that-be to prod them to do so, etc. If the pertinent people do not try to savour their own cultural/literary legacy, then the efforts of others is so much hot air. And a disaster!
